Payments

Dippety is an Australian physical and online-based retail store.

All prices are in Australian dollars, inclusive of any GST.

We accept Cash, Mastercard, Visa Card, PayPal & Direct Bank Deposit.

Payment or proof of payment (for direct bank deposits) must be received by Dippety prior to any orders being confirmed or being available for pick up or delivery. Most banks are immediate, however, please allow up to 3 business days for some banks to clear funds.

Orders

Orders can be placed online via our website, social pages, email, or phone.

When placing an order we will usually require the following details:

  • Name of recipient
  • Address of recipient (if being delivered) & any delivery instructions/precautions (e.g if they have a dog or locked gate)
  • Phone number of recipient & email address (if you would like tracking details to be sent to the recipient’s email if delivering)
  • Details of order & date required by
  • Any messages to go on a card
  • Sender’s full name
  • Sender’s phone number & email address (if you would like tracking details to be emailed to you if delivering & for accounting purposes)
  • Payment method

Once your order and payment has been received, we will send you a confirmation notification to confirm this. Please allow 7-14 days for orders to be completed and delivered or available for pick up.

We strive to get orders out as soon as possible, however, same-day deliveries are currently unavailable.

Substitutions

Images on our website act as guides only. From time to time supply changes may occur and thus substitutes may need to be made on exact flower types, colours, containers, wraps, or packaging to continue to create the same look as close as possible to that which was pictured. In the event, that the substitution will drastically change the look or is to be of a completely different nature (in the case of candle, incense, soap fragrances, and/or tea/food item flavours) we will contact you to let you know and discuss alternatives or refund.

Plant Delivery

Unfortunately, due to quarantine restrictions, we are currently unable to deliver live/potted plants outside of QLD.

For delivery addresses outside of our local courier range, plants will be sent via Australia Post at customer’s own risk. While we do take every care possible to securely pack and send our live plants for third-party post, we do not take any responsibility for damages incurred in transit via third-party postage methods (e.g Australia Post, Sendle, etc).

Delivery & Pick Ups

When ordering items for delivery or pick up, please let us know when you require the items by, at the time of placing your order, and we will try our best to accommodate your requirements or discuss alternatives.

Order pick-up dates and times need to be arranged by appointment only.

Orders for delivery may take 7-14 days to reach their destinations when sent via standard post, thus for perishable items or shorter delivery periods, please get in touch with our team to discuss alternative options, such as express post, local delivery or pick up.

Dippety is not responsible for deliveries if the recipient is not at the specified location at the time of delivery. Thus, please make sure all details are correct and that the recipient will be at the location during the specified delivery period. If the recipient is not at the premise at the time of delivery, and it is safe to do so, the courier will leave the item in a sheltered place near the front entrance to the premises. A message may also be sent to the contact details of the recipient and/or sender to let them know that the item has been delivered and any details of its location. In these cases, the delivery will be deemed to have been made successfully. If you do not want the order to be left at the address, please ensure this information has been provided to us prior to the delivery period.

If delivery could not be achieved successfully during the delivery period due to the recipient not being at the premises, dangerous weather conditions, or restricted access and the item is not safely able to be left, the sender/receiver will be contacted and the item will be returned to our business address or the courier’s premises. In this case, the recipient may have to collect the order from the courier’s/our business premises. Additional delivery charges may apply if the courier has to re-deliver the gift more than once.

If the order is a “surprise” or is of a sensitive nature, where you would like the recipient to not be contacted, please make this explicitly known at the time of ordering.

Cancellations

We understand that sometimes, unforeseen circumstances may arise. If an order needs to be canceled, please let us know as soon as possible and we will try our best to assist you. Cancelations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the delivery/pick-up date or item being posted. If your order has already been made, posted/left for delivery, or is a “special order” in which items needed to be ordered in specifically, you may be responsible for costs involved in acquiring those items up to the partial or full cost of those items. Dippety, in these cases, also reserves the right to refuse the cancelation of the order.

If you cancel your order within the time period specified and your item has not been made or is a “special order” we may be able to issue you with either a full refund, or discuss with you a refund less wastage and delivery, or a refund less wastage depending on the situation.

Returns

Sometimes accidents happen & thus refunds or exchanges can be applied for in relation to items damaged in transit or fresh flowers that have perished within 3 days of receiving. Photo evidence & details must be provided to us in writing within 3 days of receiving the item to be eligible for consideration. Damaged stock must be arranged to be returned to our business address.

Once your application has been accepted, please allow up to 7-14 business days for a refund to the value of the price you paid for the damaged product or exchange of the product if in stock. If the product you ordered is no longer in stock, we will contact you within 7 business days of your exchange application and arrange a substitute, backorder, or refund.
