Dippety Flowers & Gifts was founded by Stephanie Gain officially in 2017 from her small 117m2 duplex apartment in Lawnton. As a florist then of 7 years, Steph took her love for plants, flowers and the beauty of nature and share them with the world through the creation of woodland, rustic styled flower arrangements, homegrown plants, hand-poured soy candles, and locally-crafted ethical gifts.
Behind The Name
The name “Dippety” came about in Steph’s early childhood. Growing up on a large cattle and Lucerne property in the Lockyer Valley, Stephanie spent endless hours amidst nature with her animals, in the garden, leaping from tree branches and wandering the fields. This upbringing sparked countless projects and hobbies that stemed from nature and wildlife. Whether it was sketching the landscape, arranging wildflowers into displays for the dining room, collecting rocks, or weaving baskets from water reeds by the dam; Steph would as her Dad would say, she was, “Dippy” and “Dip” between all these interests.
Later, we also found out that “Dippy” is defined as being, “silly or foolish in usually an appealing way.” (Britannica Dictionary, 2024) … A very fitting description if you have ever met the real funny, fun-loving Stephanie in person 😀
Thus, Dippety was born and has continuously evolved as a collaboration of all Steph’s loves, passions, hobbies and interests that she would love to share with the world and brighten other people’s days.

To do our part we carefully select environmentally-friendly supplies, ingredients and packaging materials where we can, use natural means of protecting our plants & crops, re-use and recycle, as well as make the most of solar and tank water reserves to operate our small, home-based business.

While we still need our downtime, if there is something you really need at a particular time/day, we’ll try our best to help you out, even if it’s outside our normal business hours.

We are open to the public and walk-ins by appointment only.
As we are owner-operated, unfortunately we aren’t always available for walk-in trade as we are out delivering and sharing beautiful gifts with customer’s loved ones.
